GROWING INTO SPRING...

We are always looking for ways to add plant life and flowers to the spaces we design. Not only do plants brighten up a room almost instantaneously, but they scream lived-in and refined. Having house plants has a variety of benefits, including being great for your health and well-being! Removing harmful toxins from the air, these green growers help you feel more relaxed and improve your ability to focus. Not one con in sight!

Picking out a decorative planter pot is where the fun comes in. We seem to be consistently drawn to planters with an organic feel that typically involve textured terracotta and black iron. Big ceramic planters are stunning, in our opinion, and super personalizable with a variety of different colors and textures to choose from. Glazed or unglazed, they will never look outdated. Woven baskets are another one of our favorites. Gentle on floors with an irresistible natural simplicity, these baskets make you feel good when you see them and create a very homey, modern vibe.

In addition to planters, we also recommend adding a few fresh-cut flowers to introduce a new season. We are no flower experts, but we love utilizing organic shapes to achieve this perfectly imperfect look.

Stocking up on branches and putting them in a big glass vase along with your favorite flowers and some Baby's Breath on a dining table can help everything feel brighter. We love the color it gives to any space.

Another great option is to use a stoneware bowl and fill it with lots of yellow lemons or lovely big artichokes from the farmer's market and place them on your kitchen island.

If you're interested in getting some new house plants or would like to give your planters a refresh, we've got you covered! Here are some inspiration images and a round-up of our favorites to get started.
